Summer Brings Rain & Wind, Warm Days
Our summer arrived looking much more like spring with
some short but heavy rains with some thunder and lightning thronw in for good measure. (Have you ever wondered why it's thunder and lightning and not lightning and thunder since almost all the time we see the lightning before we hear the thunder? Not me, that is way too deep, but thought that you may have). Now that the longest day of the year has past, we can settle in for
a few months of BBQ's and porch sitting, visiting with our friends and neighbors, and maybe even sneaking out of town for a few days of vacation.
There's always something to look forward to - the Fourht of July fireworks at Purdue, the NCNA Garage Sale in August, and our Annual Picnic in September. What more could you want from your neighborhood?

And if you see some guy wandering around with a camera on his shoulder, let him know what you want to see on these pages - after all, it's your neighborhood's web site!
Just in case you missed our Spring '08 or Fall '07 pictures
