2008 Parade Date Set: Sunday Oct. 26th
This year's New Chauncey Halloween Parade will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday October 26th. The 9th annual parade will kick off at the corner of Rose and Lincoln Streets for a lieasurly stroll down to Lincoln Park. Participants should plan to arrive about 2:45 to sign up - there is no charge and the only requirement is that you are in costume. There are no age limits: we welcome the young and the young at heart to join in.
Once at the park there will be snacks, drinks, and awards for the youth in costume. This event is one of the most talked about events in the neighborhood, so come join us for some fun and entertainment.
2007 Halloween Parade a Big Hit!
Paul Bower did it again! Another great day and record turn out as more that 50 kids dressed up to join in the 8th annual New Chauncey Halloween Parade. It was a wonderful Sunday afternoon and the kids decked in their Halloween costumes could not have been better - From the scary to the just plain cute, parade was a smashing success. Thanks to Paul Bower for again making the arrangements and organizing this terrific event. See photos and more details.
