Annual NCNA Picnic
Over the years this event has been one of our more popular gatherings. Most recently we have been holding it on Labor Day shortly after school begins and everyone has returned from their vacations and need that one last breath of summer.
Lincoln Park has been a terrific place to bar-b-que and relax while the kids play on the toys and sanck on the goodies brought by the attendees.

2009 Annual NCN Labor Day Picnic -
A fun time for all!
The slight threat of rain did not keep the New Chauncey residents 
away from the Annual New Chauncey Neighborhood Labor Day picnic. This was a great thing as the weather was near perfect! A delectable assortment of fruits, side dishes, salads, and of course yummy desserts were brought to compliment the delicious BBQ hamburgers (see below) , veggie burgers, and hot dogs.
A hugh "THANK YOU" to Carl Griffin (right) and Scott Mills for "slaving" over the grills (actually I think they like grilling in the street).
There were many new faces and some great conversations were heard. New friends and acquaintances were made, and of course the kids all had a great time playing on the park equipment.
