Art In Bloom 2010

The City's Art in Bloom featured our New Chauncey Neighborhood this year. The annual Art in Bloom program pairs artists with gardeners and their beautiful yards for the public to enjoy on the 4th Saturday in June.

2010 Art In Bloom

Signs like these appeared in the New Chauncey Neighborhood leading the way to some of the most beautiful gardens in town.

A large group of visitors took advantage of the warm western Indiana morning and strolled through the streets of New Chauncey.

Every one seems to have a great time. Many just marveled at the beauty and color of the gardens. Others took the time to better understand how the gardens were laid out and how the accessories were crafted. Then of course there were those who while enjoying the gardens and the day, were most interested in the artwork on display. Paintings, jewelry, and stained glass were among the many crafts that were represented on the tour.

Many thanks to the Master Gardeners of Tippecanoe County for all of their help and the insights they shared with garden visitors.

Stained Glass as yard art - who would have
thought it would look this good?

Yes, that's a path below the yard level and The Wabash River through the trees. Beautiful!
