New Chauncey Neighborhood - 2009
2009 was a a lot of fun for the New Chauncey Neighborhood. The NCNA events all enjoyed pleasent weather and are growing in attendance. The Boiler Blast was again a great time, and the Welcome Back Picnic were the highlights of the year as all parts of the neighborhood came together - all ages and stages took part together.
2009 Halloween Parade
Once again the new Chauncey Halloween Parade had beautiful weather and a bunch of interesting costumes. From the Ingalls' girls to princesses and from witches to Transformers, every one on had a great time. I believe there was even a robot in the park....(more)....
2009 NCNA Annual Meeting
The annual meeting had a good turn out. The residents received an update from the Wabash River Enhancement Corp. and had a good discussion with City officials on various topics, including improvements in neighborhood code enforcement. 2009 Boiler Blast - It was Wonderful!
On Saturday April 4th West Lafayette was treated to a beautiful spring day and it was perfect for Purdue's Boiler Blast.
The Boiler Blast, an annual event at Purdue University, has a whopping 1,020 Boiler students give back to the community by volunteering to do odd jobs for the residents of West Lafayette.

2009 Soup & Dance
Our 3rd Annual Soup Dinner 'n Dance at the Morton Community Center had a terrific turn out, the soup was amazingly taste & the dancing was a whole lot of fun! Just look at the smiles on their faces!
